Setra Systems is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to support our Industrial market in the Southeast territory. This is an extremely exciting role for someone who excels at working independently, is hungry and has the ability to act as both account manager and business development manager in a region with tremendous growth potential. The optimal candidate will drive growth and innovative ideas and have the potential to lead the development and management of new sales team members within the region.
The ideal location for this candidate is Georgia; however, North Carolina and South Carolina are alternates. The territory for this position includes Washington DC, MD, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, TN, AL and MS.
? Manage a sales territory of $1-3M.
? Grow main accounts and prospect for new ones.
? Research competitors and provide competent, in-depth knowledge of the regional marketplace.
? Work cross-functionally with the Product Management team to market within key growth segments and develop new products.
? Support key, regional distribution/reseller customers.
? Rapidly respond to inquiries from internal and external customers.
? Maintain accurate and detailed call reports in SalesForce.com.
? Multitask between several complex projects and maintain accurate list of projects in the funnel.
? Communicate with Boxborough, MA team regularly and in a timely fashion.

? Self-starter with proven ability to work remotely
? Entrepreneurial spirit to drive sales and grow the business
? Superior organizational skills; able to set calendar 45-60 days in advance
? Act as a consultant for customers; be an effective listener and problem solver
? Aptitude for selling a technical product and absorbing product knowledge
? Maintain a service-oriented and customer-focused mindset at all times
? Execute tasks with the utmost sense of urgency
? Portray company and self well; maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
Required Skills/Experience:
? 5 years of technical sales experience
? Demonstrated ability to grow key account business and cultivate distribution
? Proven ability to utilize sales techniques such as value-selling and competitive cross-selling
? Experience prospecting with demonstrated ability to drive new business
? Experience effectively managing long sales-cycle projects
? Proficient in utilizing Salesforce.com (SFDC) or similar CRM system
? Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook
Desired Skills/Experience:
? Industrial and OEM customer experience
? ERP system experience such as JD Edwards
? Bachelor Degree required
? Engineering focus preferred
TRAVEL: 50% of overnight travel required for the position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
